Hi! I'm Lisa, aka New Again Design.. I'm new to indieCart. I have my own website and am not ready to actually give it up but I've also had zero sales which has been really discouraging. I have a store on Etsy and have had about 3 sales there in a span of several years, also discouraging. I know my jewelry is desirable because it sells in a local Art Co-Op so I'm secure in the fact that I have a good product so I think it all comes down to exposure and driving people to your site. I can tell you that it's next to impossible to do that by yourself unless you're willing to pay a third party a ton of money to get your site ranked higher in the search...which I can't afford. So, what we need to do, in my opinion, is to work together and promote each other! So, for the past few days I've been pinning your items on Pinterest, tweeting on Twitter, posting on Facebook and linking on Linked. At one point there were 198 people on the site looking at all of your incredible items and I noticed we went from 55 to 57 people registered which may or may not have been a result of that effort. So, I'm thinking that if all of us do this since we all have different friends, followers, etc. we can promote each other, right? I'm not saying spend all day at this but when you have some extra time just pin something or post it for your friends to see. The links on your page make it so easy and I did it on my iPhone riding in the passenger seat heading home from vacation. I think I pinned items from everyone yesterday and today. So, what do you think? :)
