Only quality pics to show up on front page-Vetting of Pics to ensure good rep of site

Some sort of vetting process that ensures that all pics on the print page are of nice quality items and that the photos are clear and crisp and of good quality. The photos people see first represent the site and they should be the best of the best.

Admin comment: This item is complete. All images on front page are being pulled from shopper favorites and vetted and approved individually.

I do agree that this would be a good change, however, perhaps it would be helpful if someone could tell us how to ensure our images are high quality. I know that my pictures look fine in my store (not blurry or grainy), but when I see them in the "favorites/spots" area, they all look like crud. I've wondered why that is and what I can do to fix it, but wasn't sure who to ask.

Keeping supplies off of the front page is something to consider, while I sell supplies, I totally understand the main draw to HC is the handmade items.

I had to go read the policies on etsy on this one. Every vendor/seller has the right to purchase the featured shop/showcase picture (whatever they call it on etsy)the picture just has to meet certain standards, if it doesn't meet these standards then etsy removes the picture and you are out your money. This can also happen if someone flags or reports your picture.

Pictures from vendors can be sent via email and be chosen that way
