Screw or twist clasp. One
end of the clasp screws into the other. Most necklaces with this type of clasp break under 8-15 lbs of tension.
Snap clasps. We offer only in limited styles and sizes. "Snap" or "Pop" clasps break far more easily than screw clasps, making the necklace unwearable. While it takes very little pressure for these necklace to come unclasped, they are not strong enough to keep toddlers or young children from removing the necklace from
themselves.
Children must be supervised when wearing jewelry. Remove when the child sleeps.
