HCS update: customizable shipping options, and feedback transfers

Great news! I’ve just upgraded HC Standard so you have the same customizability of shipping options as HC Multi. On your Store Settings >> Profile page, towards the bottom, you’ll see a field called “Shipping Option names.” If you leave it blank, it will default to our current five shipping options: “First-class, Priority, UPS, FedEx, International”. But you can define up to 5 shipping options of your own (for example, “First class to Canada,” “Flat-rate Priority”, etc.) Please let me know if you have any issues with this new capability.

One other quick note: to request feedback transfers now, please go to your Store Settings >> Request changes page and follow the link from there.

  1. i was super excited to see the feedback transfer request because i thought it would have transferred when switching from standard to mulitcart. however, i’m not as excited to see that it costs an additional $5.

  2. Valeri — the feedback transfer is for people moving from congos to individual stores or vice versa — that type of scenario. Switching from Standard to Multi includes transfer of feedback. If you switched and your feedback didn’t follow, let us know at support [at] hyenacart.com and we can get that fixed for you.

  3. You say the feedback transfer is for people moving from congos to individual stores, etc… I have a question. I’m staying at my congo, but I’m going to start stocking my individual store now, too. I’d like to transfer my feedback from my congo, yet keep it there, too. Is that possible? To effectively copy the feedback from the congo to my individual store?
