Tiny Birds Soakers Past Items

Welcome to the Tiny Birds Donation Store. I thought this would be a good way for us all to help raise money for babies in need. You can either donate items to the store, or buy an item (items are paid by a check made out to the charity so 100% of the purchase price goes to the charity). In the past I donated diapers and clothing directly to orphanages, but with the huge overseas shipping costs I found that it may be better just to send the money for the babies to have needed surgeries, etc.

Items you buy from this store will be sent to you for your personal use (you are free to resell them if you'd like) and all you need to do is send a donation check made out to the "Families with Children from China Orphanage Appeal". Checks will be mailed directly to me and I will wait to send checks in bulk (each month) to Families with Children from China. I will wait to be sure you receive the item you bought before I send the checks to the charity.

If you have new or gently used items to donate (diapers, knit soakers/longies, wool covers, or any natural parenting items) please contact me at Jenny@TinyBirds.com. You can request that the buyer pay for shipping, or donate the shipping cost to simplify transactions. Please note that if you do decide to donate something, you won't be able to take a tax deduction on it (like you would if you donated to Goodwill), because it will be the person buying the item that will be writing the check to the charity and receiving a tax deduction.
