This pull-up can be used without the snap-in insert for daytime use.  For extra protection--trips to the grocery store, naps, and nighttime--snap in the extra insert! This takes the stress out of potty-training for Mama!  The binding is super soft and super trim so that it feels quite different from a diaper and your toddler can distinguish between diapers and 'underwear' but Mama can still have the confidence that 'accidents' will be contained! ;-)
