Payments

Paypal is my preferred method of payment. At this time, I am not accepting check, cash, money orders or Revolution Money Exchange (RME). For instock items, payment must be received within 24 hours of purchase or the item will be relisted unless you have made previous arrangements with me.

Shipping

All instock items will ship to USA locations within 2 business days of receipt of payment. All customs will have the estimated time to make them listed in the item description. All items are shipped via USPS with delivery confirmation. Please contact me for international shipping information before purchase if possible. If you are the winner and your address is foreign, please choose First Class shipping and contact me for the difference amount. All shipping is the responsibility of the Buyer.
Optional insurance is recommended and will always be available for purchase at checkout for domestic purchases. The Kestlyn Collection will not be held responsible for uninsured packages that are damaged or lost in the mail. Purchasing insurance will protect you from any loss.

Product Information and Returns

All of my items are handmade and hand dyed. No two are exactly alike. As is the case with hand crafted items, they may have small imperfections and these add to the charm and character of the item. Please check my sizing information below before ordering for a proper fit on your little one.
I will accept the return of any Instock NEW, unworn and unwashed, condition items within 30 days of purchase. Upon my receipt of the items I will refund the initial purchase price(not including shipping costs). Shipping of these items is the responsibility of the Buyer. Custom items are specially made for your little one and can not be returned. Due to the delicate hygiene nature of diapering products and differing consumer washing methods, I will not be accepting returns of used items.
So, what can you do if it's after 30 days or your custom item does not fit due to your measurement error? There are great For Sale or Trade (FSOT) locations here on HC and at Diaperswappers just for this purpose! They are great places to recoup your money after your little one has outgrown their gently used items as well!
If a first quality product has a major defect please contact me immediately! I do stand behind my work. First quality items will also carry a one year warranty on elastic and snaps.
Every so often I may list items as 'seconds' at a lesser price for some minor errors (mostly minor stitching imperfections that may or may not affect the long term functionality of the product). Seconds are as is items and there will be NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES ON "SECOND" ITEM.

General Wool Diaper Cover Care Instructions

Wool covers are a great way to keep your baby dry! I use them over pocket diapers at night as a back up and I never have any leaks. Wool covers are also great over prefolds, flats, and fitted diapers as an alternative to covers made from man-made vinyl and laminate materials like PUL. Wool breathes and naturally self cleans so a cover can be used more than once if it is only slightly damp at a change. Wool dries incredibly fast, so just hang the cover to dry and use at your next change (alternate between 2-3 covers a day). I can use my covers about 3-5 times before they stop smelling clean or get dirty.
Lanolin is natural oil found in wool that helps keep it clean and waterproof. Washing removes the lanolin from wool so use a wool wash with lots of lanolin included or add your own to keep your wool working well. If you prefer, spray lanolin is available for applying after or between washes.
When your cover smells dirty, is dirty, or just stops smelling clean, it is time for a wash.

1. Rinse or swirl your cover(s) in some cold tap water to rinse urine and surface dirt away.
2. Fill up the sink, container, or washer with room temperature water.
3. Add a wool wash with lots of lanolin already included, according to the instructions, like Ewe Need It’s Woolie Wash, OR you can make your own with a Tbs. of any gentle wool wash from the supermarket (or even baby shampoo) and a ½ - 1 tsp of liquid lanolin or an inch of melted solid lanolin. If you have a stain you can add a bit more wash to that area and rub gently with your fingers. Wool wash bars are especially good for stain spots, and to use as a wash just place the bar in your hand and run water over it as you fill your container, sink or washer.
For filthy interlock you can wash in the washing machine on a gentle cycle with cool to warm water and a gentle wool wash or baby shampoo. You will need to soak in wool wash after this cycle to relanolize.
4. Swirl your wool around until all surfaces are wet. I like to turn mine inside out to soak. Then soak for 15 minutes – 1 hour depending on how waterproof you want them to be (or based on the instructions on your wool wash).
5. At the end of your soak gently press out the water with a towel, or put through a quick waterless spin cycle in your washing machine. If using the washer to soak, spin on your slowest gentlest setting. Then lay flat to dry. Towel dried wool can take a day or two to dry if you do not get most of the water out. Spinning your wool in the washing machine can cut your dry time to less than 6 hours.
