Shipping
plain baby jane ships by USPS. Delivery confirmation is included on all domestic orders. In-stock items ship in 2-3 business days. Custom items usually ship in one to two weeks, and you will be notified when they are ready to ship. I declare purchase price on international shipments, as it is illegal to do otherwise. I recommend shipping insurance on all packages, as I can't be held responsible for the inadequacies of the postal system.
Payment
plain baby jane accepts payment by Paypal only. If you don't have a Paypal account, you can make single payments with your credit or debit card through Paypal!
Your PayPal payment is expected within 24 hours of purchase, after which time I reserve the right to cancel the order and restock the item(s). If you need another day or two to pay, please let me know; I'm pretty understanding about personal circumstances. If you order more than one item, please notify me so I can give you a combined invoice. Your payment is expected within 24 hours of receiving the invoice unless other arrangements have been made.
Sales tax will be charged to orders shipped to California. If you have already paid for your order and did not include tax, I may have to invoice you separately before I can ship the items.
Returns and Refunds
plain baby jane accepts returns within 10 business days. You can choose to receive a refund (minus shipping costs) or a replacement. The item must be returned in the condition it was received, unworn and unwashed. Custom orders are not eligible for return unless they are defective in some way. If an item you purchased from me need repair, please contact me! I'll do my best to fix it for as long as you own it (this is non-transferable). You must notify me that you are shipping items back to me so I can expect the package. Please use delivery confirmation or tracking when shipping returns, so you can be assured of my receipt.
I do my best to send out perfect items, so please let me try to remedy the situation if you are unhappy when you receive your order.
Custom Orders
I take on a limited number of custom orders at a time so that I can finish them in a timely manner. If you have a custom request and I cannot immediately start on your project, I will put you on a waiting list. You are not obligated to buy a custom order until you have submitted a deposit, and I won't take your deposit I until I can actually begin work on your item. At that point your deposit is nonrefundable. However, just being on the wait list does not obligate you to purchase!
I do not have a price list for custom orders, as the cost varies widely based on materials, size, and complexity, even for similar items. I can't give a firm quote until I know more about the project you have in mind. Let's have a conversation and see what we can come up with together.
You will always receive a photo of your custom order via email before it is shipped to you, to ensure your satisfaction with the final product. If you like surprises and don't want to see a picture, please tell me in advance!
