I am a mama to two boys and two girls. I started my business in 2005 when I couldn't get through a crowd without being stopped over and over by people asking where I got my MobyWrap. I decided to become a distributor.
That went well, so I designed and made own line of fashionable waterproof bags to carry wet diapers, dirty kids' clothes, etc. without making the rest of my bag icky. With four kids, it seemed like I always had someone's dirty shirt or underpants or something like that I had to carry home. They also work well for swimming suits. The bags are completely machine washable, so I can just unzip, shake into the washing machine and throw the bag in after. Genius!
I added more products that I found work well and are excellent for mamas, and am constantly developing more.
Our latest product are goodmama one-size reusable luxury cloth diapers made from organic cotton and sustainable bamboo and hemp. These have been well tested for fit and function, and have been eagerly awaited, so we are very excited about these.
It's been fun and educational to start a business. It's a lot of work, but it's very rewarding too. I take my kids to the post office with me, and they all traipse in the door with armloads of packages to be sent. I'm trying to involve them as much as I can so they can learn to work and how business is conducted from a young age.
