Hi! I grew up on my grandparent's organic mushroom farm. No, not those kinds of mushrooms, mostly shiitake and oyster. In addition to learning the intricacies of fungal growth I also learned to craft and sew. Remember latch-hooking, macrame, and puffy paint? I was my grandma's favorite art student. I no longer enjoy raising mushrooms (hello spores), but I still love to craft. Due to a lack of space and materials, I stick to sewing bags, purses, and some kid stuff. To keep my sanity, I write depressing stories. Seriously, my stories usually end because I've killed off all my characters. I attribute that to farm living too.
