Hi, my name is Heather, and I am the WAHM behind NatureBabyKnits.

I am mama to four wild kiddos:
Bailey, born 7/01, Ransom and Avery, born 7/03 and Tanner, born 4/05.

They are the main reasons I started NBK in June 2004,
and sometimes are the models for the products we feature.

When Bailey was a baby, I began knitting.
Soon, I had a yarn stash that took over my bedroom
and knew I needed to do something with it all!

My own kids wore the NBK prototypes--
with oddly placed leg openings and funky short rows--
while I perfected my paterns.
After many months of working out the kinks, I finally felt confident selling my woolies.
