My name is Aimee, and I am the mama behind Big Bad Voodoo Mama. I make fun and funky textile items for your little one. I have been making hand dyed children’s items as gifts for friends for a couple of years, and after much encouragement decided to start making them for sale as well. Right now I offer hand dyed clothes, embellished diapers, and play silks but hope to be expanding our line to include hand dyed yarns and roving in the near future I work in my community as a birth and postpartum doula and breastfeeding counselor, and am a work at home mama to a very busy 20 month old little girl. A lifetime ago I was a retail and purchasing manager and a semi competitive swing dancer. The name of my store is actually a nickname that was given to me some years ago by a friend in the dance scene. All the dancing I do these days is with a baby on my hip, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
