I have always loved to create and make things for people. Over time people I have met and close friends have requested that I make items for them... from there my small business was born. I love to sew, crochet, and quilt the most. Most of my items reflect this.
Almost always matching sibling clothes are available, upon request.
Bugz*N*Bean clothing is made to be worn, washed, and worn many more times. Quality fabrics and contruction are important to me.
Personally, I don't like to hand wash my kids clothing. Therefore, I rarely make items that would require you to do this. Unless specifically stated, all items sold by me are machine wash and dryable. Of course, colors stay truer longer when washed on cold and not exposed to heat, but this is true for all clothing.
Our home is pet-free and smoke-free.
I always pre-wash my fabrics, so no surprising shrinkage.
All edges finished, serged, or fully encased.
I have found that I get bored if I make too many of the same outfit, so most of my clothes are one of a kind (OOAK) or close to it. My new limit is a max (including something for my girl) of 3 of any outfit. I just need to keep my creative juices running :). Most of the outfits will be OOAK and no duplicates will be made, but..... feel free to ask.
